Purina® Forage Timothy-Teff Pellets offer a low-starch, low-sugar grass forage for easy keepers, horses sensitive to non-structural carbohydrates, and horses with limited pasture access. Timothy and teff grasses are blended with flaxseed-derived omega-3 fatty acids and natural vitamin E. EasySoak™ technology makes the pellets quick to soften in water. Sold as one 40 lb bag.

Timothy and teff grasses provide varied forage.
Flaxseed supplies omega-3 fatty acids.
Natural vitamin E for antioxidant and immune support.
Made without soy, grain, molasses or binders.
Fast-soaking pellets form an easy-to-chew mash.

Feed with the regular ration and adjust the amount for activity and body condition. Can replace part or all of the forage ration. Total daily forage should ideally equal 1.2–2.5% of body weight. Include long-stem roughage where appropriate to help limit boredom and stall vices.

For added hydration, fast eaters, or dental concerns, soak with at least three parts water to one part pellets. Let pellets soften to the desired consistency before feeding. Purina recommends warm water at 100°F for best soaking results. See the manufacturer sell sheet for full directions.
