Hatchet Farm is committed to making hatchetfarm.com usable by everyone, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, or other assistive technologies. We want every customer to be able to browse, learn about our products, and shop with us independently.

Our standard

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA. In August 2026 our storefront underwent a full accessibility audit and code-level remediation covering every page template — navigation, product pages, collections, search, and cart — including keyboard access, screen-reader labeling, page structure, and color contrast.

Structured every page with proper landmarks and headings so assistive technology can navigate it
Labeled all menus, dialogs, buttons, and controls for screen readers
Made all interactive elements — including carousels, filters, and drawers — keyboard accessible
Ensured text meets WCAG AA color-contrast requirements
Sized touch targets — including carousel controls and footer links — so they are easy to hit on a phone
Committed to automated accessibility verification before any storefront change ships

Known limitations

Checkout and customer accounts are hosted by Shopify and follow Shopify’s accessibility practices. Some third-party content on our pages (such as product reviews) is provided by outside services; we monitor these and raise issues with the providers when we find them.
