Purina® Forage Alfalfa Gastric Support Pellets, 40 lb

Alfalfa forage with Outlast® gastric support technology.
Natural vitamin E for antioxidant and immune support.
Low starch and sugar; made without grain, molasses or binders.
EasySoak™ technology helps pellets soften quickly for easier chewing.

Feed alongside the regular ration, adjusting for body condition and activity. May replace part or all of the forage ration, subject to the Outlast serving limit. Aim for total daily forage of 1.2–2.5% of body weight and include long-stem roughage when appropriate.

One Outlast serving by horse weight: 500–750 lb: 1.5 lb pellets; 750–1,000 lb: 2.25 lb; 1,000–1,250 lb: 3 lb; 1,250–1,500 lb: 3.75 lb; 1,500–1,750 lb: 4.5 lb; 1,750–2,000 lb: 5.25 lb. Count Outlast in every feed and supplement: do not exceed six total servings daily. Use forage without Outlast if more is needed.

For added hydration, fast eaters, or dental concerns, soak with at least three parts water to one part pellets. Let pellets soften to the desired consistency before feeding. Purina recommends warm water at 100°F for best soaking results. See the manufacturer sell sheet for full directions.
