Nutrena® Triumph® Active 12 Textured Horse Feed is designed to help maintain ideal body condition and support performance across a variety of activity levels. Feeding rates should be adjusted based on the horse’s body condition and workload, with the total daily amount divided into two or more meals per day. This feed should be provided alongside good-quality hay or pasture at a rate of 1.0 to 1.75 lb per 100 lb of body weight to ensure at least 50% of the diet comes from forage. Performance horses may benefit from more frequent feeding, while growing horses should not be overfed to prevent excess body condition. Begin feeding at the lower recommended levels and adjust gradually as needed.
Clean, fresh water should be available at all times, and horses should be properly cooled out and rehydrated before feeding following exercise.
