Nutrena® Triumph® Active 12 Pellet Horse Feed should be fed as part of a balanced program to help maintain proper body condition and support performance. Feeding amounts should be adjusted based on the horse’s age, body condition, and activity level, with the total daily ration divided into two or more meals per day. Provide good-quality hay or pasture at a rate of 1.0 to 1.75 lb per 100 lb of body weight to ensure at least 50% of the diet comes from forage. Performance horses may benefit from more frequent feeding, while growing horses should not be overfed to avoid excess body condition. Begin feeding at the lower recommended levels and gradually adjust as needed to maintain ideal condition.
Clean, fresh water should be available at all times, and horses should be properly cooled out and rehydrated before feeding following exercise.
