The STIHL TPA 20 is STIHL's first battery-powered water pump, designed for the garden and yard. A 2-in-1 unit, it irrigates your garden with collected rainwater or drains small pools, tanks and barrels, and because it runs on the STIHL AS battery system it is completely portable with no cord to manage.
Three power levels let you match pressure and flow to the job: Level 1 (about 343 gal/h, 13 psi) for light cleaning with a short hose, Level 2 (about 449 gal/h, 22 psi) for watering with a regular garden hose, and Level 3 (about 581 gal/h, 32 psi) for a sprinkler or for draining with a long hose. A simple control panel also offers 5, 10 or 15-minute run timers.
Remove the pump base without tools to convert the TPA 20 to flat suction for pumping out water close to the bottom of a pool or during cleaning. A double sealing system, an integrated filter that is easy to remove and clean, and dry-running protection that switches the pump off when no water is detected help protect the pump and extend its life.
On a fully charged AS 2 battery the TPA 20 pumps approximately 145 gallons on Level 3, with a working time of about 15 minutes on Level 3 up to 50 minutes on Level 1. For clear water only — not for dirty water, debris, salt water, sewage, chemicals or liquids above 95°F.
The set includes the TPA 20 power unit and submersible pump unit with an 8 ft connecting cable, barrel hook, 8 ft hose with quick-connect fittings, hose guide and shut-off valve, ½ in., ¾ in. and 1 in. adapters, two AS 2 batteries and an AL 1 charger.
