Adult horses, per 100 lb of body weight daily: light exercise 0.45–0.80 lb; moderate 0.50–0.85 lb; heavy 0.50–0.90 lb; very heavy 0.55–1.00 lb.

Special needs on diets with minimal hay: 1.25–1.50 lb per 100 lb of body weight daily.

Offer quality hay free-choice and provide salt and fresh water. Approximate weight to volume: 0.85 lb per quart. Store in a cool, dry place.
