Safe-Guard Equi-Bits are apple-flavored, alfalfa-based deworming pellets that let you feed and deworm your horse in a single step. The active ingredient, fenbendazole, controls large strongyles, small strongyles, pinworms, and ascarids — simply spread the pellets over the daily ration, making them ideal for horses that are hard to handle with paste dewormers.

The recommended dose is 5 mg of fenbendazole per kg of body weight for a one-day treatment, so this 1.25 lb pack treats up to 1,250 lb of body weight for routine deworming. Safe for use in pregnant mares, stallions, and foals.
