Jones-Hamilton ParlorPal® (now SurpHace™) is a dry, granular mineral-based acidifier (sodium bisulfate) engineered to safely lower pH, control ammonia emissions, and create environments unsuitable for pathogenic bacteria across dairy, beef, sheep, and goat operations.

By reducing the pH of livestock bedding, manure packs, calf hutches, and dairy footbaths, ParlorPal® / SurpHace™ helps protect respiratory health, supports hoof integrity, disrupts fly larvae development, and retains valuable nitrogen in manure to increase fertilizer value—all while remaining safe to apply directly around animals and people.

Dairy, Sheep & Goat Bedding: Apply at 100–150 lbs per 1,000 sq. ft. directly onto shavings, straw, or sand as needed. In cleaned-out barns, apply 150 lbs per 1,000 sq. ft. to the floor before spreading bedding.

Calf Hutches, Kidding & Lambing Pens: Apply 1 lb per week to each hutch or pen (or 10–15 lbs per 100 sq. ft. under calf hutches/pens before bedding) to keep ammonia levels below 5 PPM.

Cattle Bedding, Hospital Pens & High-Traffic Alleys: Apply 75–200 lbs per 1,000 sq. ft. weekly or biweekly using a drop spreader, broadcast spreader, or blower. Safe to apply around animals.

Dairy Footbaths: Add 15–25 lbs per 50 gallons of water to reach a target pH of 3.5–4.0. Mix fresh footbath water every 250–300 cows. Clean out concrete footbaths nightly (do not let solution sit overnight in unlined concrete).
