Home Fresh® Alpaca Family & Fiber from KENT Nutrition is a premium pelleted diet specifically formulated to meet the nutritional requirements of alpacas and llamas of all life stages, including breeding stock, lactating dams, growing cria, and fiber animals.

Home Fresh® Alpaca Family & Fiber is a pelleted feed formulated to complement grass hay and pasture. Testing of hay and pasture is recommended to ensure appropriate total diet nutrient intake.

Feed Home Fresh Alpaca Family & Fiber to alpacas and llamas according to recommendations below. Provide hay or pasture free-choice along with clean, fresh water daily. Feeding amounts should be adjusted based on body condition and weight.

Approximate Daily Feeding Recommendations (0.5 lb = approx. 1½ cups):

  • Adult (Maintenance, Non-Breeding Females, Males, Geldings): 0.25 lb per 100 lb of body weight
  • Adult (Show, Breeding, Seniors, Stressed): 0.50 lb per 100 lb of body weight
  • Gestation (Last 8 - 10 Weeks): 0.50 lb per 100 lb of body weight
  • Lactation (First 4 Months): 0.70 lb per 100 lb of body weight
  • Growth (Crias): 0.25 - 0.35 lb per 50 lb of body weight

Feed with clean, fresh water at all times.
