Espoma Organic Potting Mix is the ultimate potting soil for indoor and outdoor potted plants. This rich, all-natural blend is fortified with earthworm castings, alfalfa meal, kelp meal, and feather meal, and enhanced with Myco-tone mycorrhizae for stronger root development.

It improves moisture retention to help reduce drought stress, giving container plants and vegetables the foundation they need to grow big and beautiful.

  • Choose a container with drainage holes and add a layer of stones to the base.
  • Fill about one-third of the container with Espoma Organic Potting Mix (mixing in Bio-tone Starter Plus is recommended).
  • Remove the plant from its nursery pot, gently loosen the root ball, and center it in the container.
  • Fill in around the roots with more potting mix, leaving about 1 inch between the soil surface and the rim of the pot.
  • Water thoroughly.
