• Feed established plants 4 times per year, once every three months.
• Palms: apply at a rate of 3 lb per 100 sq ft of area beneath the branches (1 cup per 10 sq ft), sprinkled around the drip line and mixed into the soil.
• Hibiscus: sprinkle 1/4-1.5 lb per plant (by plant size) evenly under and around the plant.
• New plantings: mix 1 cup into amended soil at planting time.
• Potted plants: mix 2 cups per cubic foot of soil for new plants, or sprinkle 1 tsp per 4 inches of pot diameter for established plants (double the rate for pots over 12 in).
• 1 lb = 3 cups.
