Its rich mix of sphagnum peat moss and perlite retains moisture while improving drainage and aeration, giving seedlings and cuttings the ideal environment to establish in indoor or outdoor containers.

  • For seeds: fill a shallow container with the mix (peat pots or trays with drainage holes make transplanting easier).
  • Wet the mix according to your seed packet's directions and sow the seeds.
  • Place the container in a bright location out of direct sunlight.
  • Keep the mix moist by misting with a spray bottle.
  • Once seedlings develop their first true leaves, transplant into a larger container or outdoors.
  • For cuttings: fill a clean container with the moistened mix, make a hole with a pencil, insert the cutting, and pat the mix closed around it.
  • Keep the mix moist until roots develop, then transplant.
