• New plantings: mix 1 cup of Holly-tone into the amended backfill soil at planting time.
• Established shrubs: apply 1 cup per foot of drip-line diameter (double the rate if the diameter is over 3 feet).
• Established trees: apply 1 lb. (3 cups) per inch of trunk diameter (triple for trunks 3 inches or larger), placed in holes around the drip line.
• New garden beds: mix 10 lbs. per 100 sq. ft. into the top 4-5 inches of soil.
• Established garden beds: apply 5 lbs. per 100 sq. ft. and water thoroughly.
• Feed twice per year: full rate in early spring, half rate in fall.
