Espoma Organic Garden Gypsum is an all-natural mined gypsum soil conditioner with no fillers or additives. It loosens heavy clay soils and improves water and air penetration, while its pelletized form makes for easy, low-dust handling and application.

Gypsum also helps minimize salt damage to plants and cure turf burns caused by ice melters and pet urine, promoting root growth and healthier soil structure.

  • Garden beds: apply 6 lb per 30 sq. ft., worked into the top 6 inches of soil.
  • Shrubs: apply 3 lb per plant. Flowers: apply 1 lb per plant.
  • Lawns: apply 36 lb per 1,000 sq. ft. (double the rate for exceptionally heavy clay).
  • Sprinkle evenly on the soil surface; use a drop or broadcast spreader for lawn application, and water after applying.
