Espoma Garden Gypsum is an all-natural mineral soil conditioner that helps loosen heavy clay soils and promote healthier root growth. It also helps counter the effects of winter de-icing salts and cures turf burns caused by pet urine.

The pelletized form makes it easy to apply to garden beds, shrubs, flowers, and lawns, and it's approved for organic gardening.

  • Garden beds: apply 6 lb. per 30 sq ft into the top 6 inches of soil.
  • Shrubs: apply 3 lb. per plant. Flowers: apply 1 lb. per plant.
  • Lawns: apply 36 lb. per 1,000 sq ft (double the rate for exceptionally heavy clay); a drop or broadcast spreader is recommended.
  • For garden applications, sprinkle evenly on the soil surface and always water after application. (1 lb. equals about 1-3/4 cups.)
