• New plantings, individual bulbs: apply 1½ heaping teaspoons into the planting hole and cover with soil.
• New plantings, row planting: mix 1½ lb (4.5 cups) of Bulb-tone into the soil per 25 ft of row.
• New plantings, bed plantings: apply 4 lb per 60 sq ft, mixed to at or below the bulb planting depth.
• Established bulbs, individual: apply 1½ heaping teaspoons around each plant, 2–3 in from the stem.
• Established bulbs, bed plantings: apply 4 lb per 60 sq ft; wash off any plant food left on foliage.
• 1 lb of Bulb-tone equals approximately 3 cups.
