Espoma Bonsai Mix Soil

• Best time to repot bonsai is early spring.
• Remove the bonsai from its container and use a root rake to gently loosen the outer root mass, separating about 1/3 to 1/2 of the roots from the center; trim exposed roots with sharp scissors.
• Place mesh over the drainage hole, add a layer of Bonsai Mix to the bottom of the container, position the trimmed plant, then fill in around the roots with mix, pressing gently to remove air pockets.
• Water thoroughly and keep in a protected location for 2-4 weeks before returning to normal growing conditions.
• Feed with Espoma Indoor! liquid plant food 6-8 weeks after repotting.
