• New plantings: mix 1 cup of Azalea-tone into amended soil at planting time.
• Established shrubs: feed twice per year (spring and fall, using half the rate in fall); apply 1 cup per foot of drip-line diameter, doubling the rate if diameter exceeds 3 ft.
• Established trees: apply 1 lb per inch of trunk diameter into 3-inch-wide holes dug 12-18 inches deep around the drip line, spaced 2-3 ft apart.
• New garden beds: mix 10 lb per 100 sq ft into the top 4 inches of soil.
• Established beds: apply 5 lb per 100 sq ft, sprinkled evenly and watered in.
• Potted plants: mix 2 cups per cubic foot of soil for new plants, or sprinkle 1 tsp per 3 inches of pot diameter for established plants.
