It is for plastic and metal pipes and has a built-in fast reaction fuse. It has a power indicator light that indicates an intact fuse. It has a grounded 30" cord set and requires less heating cable. It has pipe mounting brackets for easy attachment to typical water pipes. It is easy to install and protects pipes to -60-Degrees Fahrenheit, -51 degrees Celsius. It is UL approved.
