Can I feed it with the grain my horse is already on?

Yes — that’s the design. All three are top-dress supplements meant to ride on top of your current ration. Nutrena formulates Boost with its own added vitamin E and minerals so it doesn’t dilute a balanced diet, and Digestive Balance can be fed with the ration or on its own with hay or pasture. Topline Balance also works as a stand-alone balancer for horses on forage only.

How long will a 40 lb bag last?

At Nutrena’s published rates for a 1,000 lb horse: Digestive Balance at 24 oz a day runs just under four weeks. Topline Balance at 1–1½ lb a day runs about 4–6 weeks. Boost depends on workload — a maintenance horse at ½–1 lb a day gets 6–11 weeks from a bag; a horse in hard work uses it faster.

Is the $4 off automatic?

Yes. The discount is already in the price on every bag — no code to type, and it applies whether you ship it or pick it up at the store in Nassau. The strikethrough on this page shows the regular price.

How do I switch my horse onto it?

Like any feed change: gradually. Start small and work up to the full serving over a week or so. Nutrena’s note on Boost is typical — if manure loosens, back the amount off slightly, let the horse adjust, then build back up to the desired level.
