This product is designed to be a versatile feeding option and can be used either to supplement forage or as a complete hay replacement, depending on your horse’s dietary needs. Feeding rates should be adjusted based on body weight, workload, metabolism, and overall body condition.

To Supplement Hay and/or Pasture

When feeding alongside hay or pasture, this product provides additional nutrients and helps support energy and condition.

For a 1,100 lb. horse, feed approximately 4 to 6 pounds per day in combination with good-quality forage. Adjust the amount as needed to maintain the desired body condition and performance level.

To Use as a Complete Hay Replacement

When forage availability is limited or when a complete forage alternative is required, this product can be fed as the primary fiber source.

For a 1,100 lb. horse, feed approximately 15 to 20 pounds per day as a complete hay replacement. Divide the total daily amount into multiple feedings to support proper digestion and reduce the risk of digestive upset.

Additional Feeding Considerations

This product can be mixed with water to help improve hydration and palatability, especially for horses that benefit from additional moisture in their diet. It may also be combined with the grain portion of the diet to help slow the rate of intake and promote better digestion.

Always provide free-choice salt and unlimited access to fresh, clean water to support proper hydration and overall health.
