Triple Crown Perform Gold is a high fat, high fiber pellet ideal for performance horses or horses requiring additional calories. Perform Gold focuses on amino acid balance by including whey protein which is essential for muscle growth and development, and also electrolyte balance which aids in hydration. Additionally, it includes an organic, plant-based calcium, which provides gastric buffering for performance horses and those under stress.

Triple Crown Perform Gold goes beyond by providing: enhanced gastric support with a seaweed-derived calcium source, optimal amino acid balance with added whey protein and improved glucose utilization from Chromium which may improve performance and delay fatigue. Perform Gold is a higher-fat feed from soy oil, rice bran and flaxseed providing additional calories to meet the needs of performance horses and hard keepers.

When feeding Triple Crown Perform Gold, it should be offered alongside adequate forage such as hay or pasture to support digestive health. A 600-pound horse typically requires approximately 3 to 4 pounds of Triple Crown Perform Gold per day, along with a minimum of 9 to 12 pounds of hay or pasture.

For a 900-pound horse, the recommended feeding amount is about 4 to 9 pounds per day, together with 13.5 to 18 pounds of forage. Horses weighing around 1,100 pounds generally require approximately 5 to 11 pounds daily, while maintaining 16.5 to 22 pounds of hay or pasture in the diet.

Larger horses weighing around 1,300 pounds typically need about 6 to 12.5 pounds of Triple Crown Perform Gold per day, along with 19.5 to 26 pounds of forage to ensure proper fiber intake and digestive balance.

These feeding guidelines are based on average daily requirements. Individual horses may require adjustments depending on factors such as age, level of work, metabolism, climate conditions, and forage quality. Caution

Follow label directions carefully. Chromium supplementation should not exceed 4 mg per day. Feeding added selenium above 0.30 ppm in the total diet is prohibited. When fed as directed, Triple Crown Perform Gold does not exceed 3 mg of added selenium per horse per day. This product contains added copper and should not be fed to sheep.
