When feeding this product, it should be provided alongside adequate forage such as hay or pasture. Horses should consume approximately 1.5% to 2% of their body weight in forage each day to support proper digestion and fiber intake.

For a 600-pound horse, feed approximately 3 to 4 pounds of Triple Crown Naturals Pelleted feed per day along with 9 to 12 pounds of hay or pasture. A 900-pound horse generally requires about 4 to 9 pounds per day, together with 13.5 to 18 pounds of forage.

Horses weighing around 1,100 pounds typically need approximately 5 to 11 pounds daily, along with 16.5 to 22 pounds of hay or pasture to maintain proper digestive function. Larger horses weighing around 1,300 pounds usually require about 6 to 13 pounds per day, while maintaining 19.5 to 26 pounds of forage in the diet.

Feed enough Triple Crown Naturals Pelleted feed to maintain the horse’s desired body condition and energy level, adjusting the feeding rate up or down as necessary based on activity level, forage quality, and environmental conditions.
