This feed is designed as a supplement to pasture and hay. Introduce this, and all new feeds, slowly over a 7- to 10-day period to all species. Provide free access to pasture and good quality hay. Fresh, clean water should be available at all times, and species-appropriate mineral supplementation should be offered as needed. Salt should be available free-choice.
Horses: Feed maintenance horses 0.75 to 1.5 lb per 100 lb of bodyweight, depending on body condition and level of work. Provide free access to pasture or 1.5 to 2.0 lb of good quality long-stem hay per 100 lb bodyweight per day. Horses that have been exercised should be cooled out and properly re-hydrated before feeding and before access to unlimited water.
Cattle: Feed weaned cattle at 1 to 3% of bodyweight, depending on body condition and desired rate of gain. Provide adequate good quality hay or pasture and fresh clean water at all times.
Goats: Feed 1 to 2 lb per 100 lb of bodyweight per day. Provide adequate good quality hay or pasture and fresh clean water at all times.
Sheep: Feed 1 to 2 lb per 100 lb of bodyweight per day. Provide adequate good quality hay or pasture and fresh clean water at all times.
Store feed in a clean, cool, dry location free of insects and rodents. Do not allow animals access to feed that shows signs of insect or rodent infestation. Do not feed hot or moldy feedstuffs.
