Research has shown that with supplemental feeding ponds stay healthy and sustainable while fish grow big and fast. Ponds which naturally sustain a stocking population of 500 bluegills and 50 bass per acre can easily sustain 1,000 bluegills and 100 bass per acre with supplemental feeding. This remarkable difference is due in part to the fact that supplemental feeding affects a pond’s entire food chain.

1. Purina® Game Fish Chow™ Product is a complete and balanced 32%-protein ration that is ideal for feeding bluegill, carp, hybrid sunfish, catfish, minnows and many other fish species that normally populate ponds.
2. Purina® Game Fish Chow™ feed is rich in nutrients essential for optimal fish growth, reproduction and overall health. It works naturally with everyday food sources in your water to overcome poor nutrition, which is the most significant limiting factor in the size and health of forage fish.
3. Since bass prey aggressively on these fish, a better crop of forage fish can result in h larger, healthier and greater numbers of bass in your water.
4. For best results, feed as much Game Fish Chow™ feed as the fish will consume in 15-20 minutes.
5. If feed is completely consumed within 15 minutes, gradually offer the fish additional feed.
6. If feed is still floating on the surface after 20 minutes, the quantity of feed offered should be decreased.
7. If you overfeed you will reduce water quality.
8. Feed at the same time each day so fish will expect to be fed. Twice a day feedings are best during high fish activity.

IMPORTANT:

This product is to be fed only to the animal species as directed on this label. Follow these management practices:
1. A feeding program is only as effective as the management practices followed.
2. Start feeding Game Fish Chow™ Product in the spring when the water temperature rises above 55ºF.
3. Reduce the amount of feed when water temperature exceeds 85ºF and do not feed when water temperature exceeds 90ºF or in hot, still, cloudy weather.

Do not feed moldy or insect-infested feed to animals as it may cause illness, performance loss, or death.
