Begin feeding Nature Smart® Organic/Non-GMO Layer Pellet when hens begin laying eggs. Feed continuously as the sole ration. Keep feeders approximately half full at all times.

Provide grit and oyster shell free choice in a separate container, or mixed with the feed if birds are confined. Grit aids digestion, while oyster shell provides additional calcium for stronger eggshells.

For optimal egg production, layers should receive 15–17 hours of light per day. Gather eggs 3–4 times daily and store at 50–60°F with 70–80% humidity for best quality.
