Begin feeding Empower® Boost Supplement at a rate of 0.5 lb (0.23 kg) per head per day and increase gradually over a two-week period.
- Maintenance: 0.5–1.0 lb per day
- Light to Moderate Work: 1.0–2.0 lb per day
- Moderate to Heavy Work: 2.0–3.0 lb per day
- Lactating Mares: 1.0–3.0 lb per day
- Breeding Horses: 1.0–2.0 lb per day
The gradual introduction allows horses to adjust to the added fat and benefit from fat-based energy. Monitor body condition and adjust feeding as needed to maintain desired condition.
Provide free-choice salt and fresh, clean water at all times. After work, cool horses properly and rehydrate before feeding or allowing access to unlimited water.
