Country Feeds® Sheep Textured 16% is a complete, nutritious feed designed for growing and breeding sheep. This textured formula provides balanced protein, energy, vitamins, and minerals to support healthy growth, reproduction, and overall flock performance—delivering dependable nutrition at a great value.

Start lambs at a rate of approximately 1% of bodyweight per head per day (about 1/4 lb). Gradually increase over 2–3 weeks to 3% of bodyweight per head per day (about 3/4 lb). Feed free-choice hay initially and reduce hay as lambs adjust to the feed.

Feed breeding or lactating sheep to maintain desired body condition. Offer approximately 1 lb of feed per 3–4 lb of milk produced. Lambs should be vaccinated for enterotoxemia before going on full feed.

Feed to growing or finishing lambs as the sole ration. Introduce gradually to newly weaned lambs or those not previously fed high-energy rations. Limited hay (1/4 to 1/2 lb per head per day) may be fed to finishing lambs. Salt should be available free choice. Always provide plenty of fresh, clean water.
