Nutrena® Triumph® Senior Horse Feed is formulated to help maintain ideal body condition and performance in senior horses with varying needs. Feeding rates should be adjusted based on the horse’s body condition, activity level, and ability to consume forage, with the total daily amount divided into two or more meals per day. When fed with hay or pasture, provide good-quality forage at a rate of 1.0 to 1.75 lb per 100 lb of body weight to ensure at least 50% of the diet comes from forage. This feed may also be used as a complete sole ration for senior horses with limited or no access to hay. Begin feeding at the lower recommended levels and adjust gradually as needed.
Always provide clean, fresh water, and allow horses to cool down and properly rehydrate before feeding after exercise.
