Nutrena® Triumph® Fiber Plus Horse Feed is formulated to help maintain ideal body condition and support performance for horses at various life stages and activity levels. Feeding rates should be adjusted according to the horse’s body condition and workload, with the total daily amount divided into two or more meals per day. Feed alongside good-quality hay or pasture at a rate of 1.0 to 1.75 lb per 100 lb of body weight to ensure at least 50% of the diet comes from forage. Performance horses may benefit from more frequent feedings, while growing horses should not be overfed to avoid excess body condition. Begin at the lower feeding rates and adjust gradually as needed.
Clean, fresh water should always be available, and horses should be properly cooled out and rehydrated before feeding after exercise.
