Scotts Turf Builder Grass Seed Sun & Shade Mix thrives in a variety of conditions. It contains Root-Building Nutrition — a combination of grass seed, fertilizer and soil improver crafted to help establish deep roots and grow thick, green turf so you can build a stronger lawn from the roots up.

Designed for full sun through dense shade, it offers medium drought resistance and medium-to-high durability. Use it to seed a new lawn or overseed an existing one. For best results, apply in spring or fall when soil temperatures are consistently between 55°F and 70°F, and water daily to keep the soil surface moist until seedlings reach at least 2 inches tall. One 2.4 lb. bag covers 320 sq. ft. for a new lawn and up to 960 sq. ft. for overseeding.
