The aged forest products and peat moss help hold moisture around plant roots, which can improve results and save water at the same time.

For a new garden, work in a 3–6 inch layer; for established gardens, top-dress with a 3-inch layer. Ready to use right out of the bag and especially good for raised-bed planting.
