ProElite® Performance Horse Feed is formulated to meet the nutritional needs of performance horses in training, competition, and heavy work. Feed in combination with good-quality forage.
Feed 0.5% to 1.0% of the horse’s body weight per day, divided into two or more meals. Adjust feeding amounts based on body condition, workload, age, and individual needs.
Suggested Daily Feeding Rates (per 1,000 lb horse):
• Light work: 5–7 lb per day
• Moderate work: 7–10 lb per day
• Heavy or intense work: 10–14 lb per day
Always provide free-choice access to clean, fresh water. Salt should be available free-choice at all times.
Introduce feed gradually over a 7–10 day period when changing rations. Monitor body condition regularly and adjust feeding amounts as needed. Ensure horses receive adequate forage intake, with a minimum of 1% of body weight per day from hay or pasture.
